Web Coding from Basic Prompts

This MicroEval will test how well certain LLMs can create web apps based on simple, not super detailed text prompts.

Prompt

Build a fully client-side file encryption and decryption web application featuring a clean, responsive tabbed interface with "Encrypt", "Decrypt", and "About" sections, progress bars, file metadata previews, and a performance warning for large files. In the Encrypt tab, allow users to select any file, enter a password, toggle Gzip compression, and optionally include an encrypted sender identity signature; derive a 256-bit key using PBKDF2 with 100,000 iterations of SHA-256 and a random 16-byte salt, encrypt the payload and signature using AES-256-GCM with random 12-byte initialization vectors, package the output into a downloadable .crypt JSON file containing the salt, IVs, encoded data, and metadata (original name, size, compression status), and trigger an automatic file download. In the Decrypt tab, allow users to load a .crypt file and enter a password to derive the key, decrypt and display the sender signature panel if present, decrypt and decompress the payload back to its original state with error handling for incorrect credentials or corrupted data, and trigger a download of the original file under its original filename. Finally, include an informative "About" tab detailing the client-side architecture, PBKDF2 key derivation steps, AES-GCM authenticated encryption, Gzip compression benefits, sender signature verification mechanisms, and recommended cryptographic best practices.
