We are travelling from Middletown, NJ to Atlanta, GA by car. We will take the route: I‑287 → I‑78 W → I‑81 S (Great Appalachian Valley) → I‑40 → I‑75 S We are natural lovers, love to see different types of landscapes, learn a bit about history, love experiences, etc. We love to stop along the journey and see landscapes/sights, sunrises, sunsets, waterfalls, etc. Try farm fresh milk products like icecreams etc, vegetable, fruits and products etc. We appreciate scenery changes, any picturesque towns, Appalachian mountains, national parks etc. We are travelling with an infant along with us. The infant usually sleeps at 7.30 pm in the night, and wakes up at 7am. If we start from Middletown, NJ on 15th September at 5pmish, we want to take a break at 10 pm ish at a hotel in between, start again next morning at 5am ish and want to reach inside Georgia on 16th by 7.30pm max. I also want to minimize my budget. Ideally apart from the hotel stay, I don't want to spend on anything else. We would ideally like things that are free or very cheap to do. And would not like to deviate very much from the route. So advise accordingly. 1.
