鹈鹕骑自行车

The user wants an SVG animation of a pelican riding a bicycle, in a single HTML file. Let me create a nice animated SVG. Let me design: - A pelican (big bird with large pouch beak) sitting on a bicycle - Wheels rotating, pedals rotating, legs pedaling - Background scrolling / road - Maybe the pelican's beak opens/closes, wings flap a bit Let me build the SVG carefully with viewBox like 0 0 800 500. Bicycle design: two wheels, center at (250, 380) and (550, 380), radius 90. Frame connecting. Pelican sits on the seat, with legs reaching to pedals at around (400, 380) crank center... let's make the crank at (400, 370). Actually let's lay out: - Rear wheel center: (230, 380), r=95 - Front wheel center: (570, 380), r=95 - Bottom bracket (crank): (400, 390), crank radius 30 - Seat at (310, 250) roughly - Handlebar at (520, 240) Pelican body sits around (330, 220), head up at (430, 120) with a big beak pointing forward (right). Hmm, actually let's think about the pelican posture. A pelican on a bike: body leans forward, head at the front-ish, long beak extending forward. Legs pedaling down to the crank. Let me put: - Wheel radius 90, rear wheel center (240, 375), front (560, 375) - Ground line y = 465 - Crank center (400, 375) - Seat post from crank to seat: seat at (310, 240) - Pelican body: ellipse centered around (330, 200) rotated - Head at (440, 110) - Beak extends from (470,120) to (620, 150) — long pelican pouch beak Legs: from hip at (330, 240) to knee to foot at pedal. Pedals rotate around crank center (400, 375) with radius 32. Let me do legs with two segments animated via keyframes — simpler: use a thigh and shin with transform rotations. Might be complex but doable with nested groups. Alternative simpler approach: Draw the leg as a path that morphs? Hard. Instead: use nested with rotation animation for thigh and shin. Let's do: hip joint at (330, 250). Thigh length ~70. Knee. Shin length ~80. Foot pedal position: crank center (400,375) + r=34 rotating. The pedal position at angle θ: (400 + 34cos θ, 375 + 34 sin θ). For a realistic pedal, we'd need IK. Instead I can approximate: thigh rotates between -20deg and +20deg, shin counter-rotates. It'll look roughly like pedaling. That's fine for a cartoon. Actually a cleaner trick: make the whole leg a single path with the "knee" bulge, and just rotate the leg group around hip slightly, plus draw foot attached to pedal. Hmm. Let me try: two-leg approach with rotation on nested groups. It'll look decent. Actually maybe simpler and more robust: animate the leg using SMIL animateTransform with keyTimes and values approximating the IK. Let's compute. Hip H = (335, 255). Crank C = (400, 375). r = 36. Thigh length L1 = 75, shin L2 = 85. Distance from hip to crank = sqrt(65² + 120²) = sqrt(4225+14400)= sqrt(18625) ≈ 136.5. Pedal distance varies from 136.5-36=100.5 to 136.5+36=172.5. L1+L2 = 160. Hmm, max distance 172.5 > 160, too far. Need longer legs. Let L1 = 90, L2 = 95 → 185 max, min 100.5. OK, that works (need |L1-L2| ≤ d ≤ L1+L2; |L1-L2| = 5, d min 100.5 fine). Let's compute IK angles at several crank angles. Angle of crank measured such that pedal P = C + r*(cos φ, sin φ) in SVG coords (y down). φ = 0 → pedal at right of crank (400+36, 375) = (436, 375) φ = 90° → (400, 411) bottom φ = 180° → (364, 375) φ = 270° → (400, 339) top For each, compute from hip H=(335,255): Vector H→P = (dx, dy). d = |HP|. Angle to P: α = atan2(dy, dx). Thigh angle: β = acos((d² + L1² - L2²)/(2 d L1)). Thigh direction angle = α - β (choose the solution that bends knee forward/up). Then knee K = H + L1*(cos(thighAngle), sin(thighAngle)). Shin angle = atan2(Py-Ky, Px-Kx). The rotation for a thigh drawn pointing down (default from hip downward, i.e., angle 90° in SVG if drawn straight down). Let's draw thigh in its own local coordinates from (0,0) to (0, L1) (pointing down = +y). Then rotation angle needed = thighAngle - 90°. Similarly shin drawn from (0,0) to (0,L2), rotated by shinAngle - 90°, and positioned at knee (translate to knee, i.e., nested group inside thigh group translated by (0, L1)). Let's compute for L1=90, L2=95, H=(335,255), C=(400,375), r=36. φ=0: P=(436,375). H→P = (101,120). d=√(10201+14400)=√24601≈156.85. α = atan2(120,101) = 49.9°. β = acos((24601 + 8100 - 9025)/(2*156.85*90)) = acos(23676/28233) = acos(0.8386) = 33.0°. thighAngle = α - β = 16.9° (i.e., nearly horizontal to the right). Hmm, thigh pointing right and slightly down. Knee at H + 90*(cos16.9, sin16.9) = (335+86.1, 255+26.2) = (421.1, 281.2). Then shin to P (436,375): direction (14.9, 93.8), length 95. ✓. Shin angle = atan2(93.8,14.9)= 80.97°. Rotations: thigh rot = 16.9-90 = -73.1°. shin rot = 80.97-90 = -9.03°. φ=90: P=(400,411). H→P=(65,156). d=√(4225+24336)=√28561=169.0. α=atan2(156,65)=67.4°. β=acos((28561+8100-9025)/(2*169*90)) = acos(27636/30420)=acos(0.9085)=24.7°. thighAngle=42.7°. Knee = (335+66.2, 255+61.1)=(401.2,316.1). Shin dir to (400,411): (-1.2, 94.9), len 94.9 ✓ angle = atan2(94.9,-1.2)=90.7°. thigh rot = -47.3°, shin rot = 0.7°. φ=180: P=(364,375). H→P=(29,120). d=√(841+14400)=√15241=123.5. α=atan2(120,29)=76.4°. β=acos((15241+8100-9025)/(2*123.5*90)) = acos(14316/22230) = acos(0.6440)=49.9°. thighAngle = 26.5°. Knee = (335+80.5, 255+40.1) = (415.5, 295.1). Shin to (364,375): (-51.5, 79.9), len 95.0 ✓ angle = atan2(79.9,-51.5) = 122.8°. thigh rot = -63.5°, shin rot = 32.8°. φ=270: P=(400,339). H→P=(65,84). d=√(4225+7056)=√11281=106.2. α=atan2(84,65)=52.3°. β=acos((11281+8100-9025)/(2*106.2*90))=acos(10356/19116)=acos(0.5418)=57.2°. thighAngle = 52.3-57.2 = -4.9°. Knee = (335+89.7, 255-7.7) = (424.7, 247.3). Shin to (400,339): (-24.7, 91.7), len 95.0 ✓ angle = atan2(91.7,-24.7)=105.1°. thigh rot = -94.9°, shin rot = 15.1°. Hmm, thigh rot going -73, -47, -63, -95. That's a bit jumpy but it's actual IK so it's fine. Wait, that's odd — at φ=0 thigh is -73 (pointing right-ish), φ=270 thigh -95 (pointing straight right and slightly up?). thighAngle=-4.9° means pointing right and slightly up. Hmm, that's because the pedal is high and close. That's realistic-ish for a recumbent... Actually for a seated cyclist the hip is above and behind the crank. Here H=(335,255) is above-left of C=(400,375). The pedal at top (400,339) is close to the hip, distance 106, and knee goes way out front. Realistic cycling: knee goes forward and up. Yes that's right. OK, but wait — I want to double check whether the bike geometry works. The seat is at around (310, 245) and hip at (335,255)? The pelican sits on the seat, hip should be near the seat. Good. Actually, hmm, for a bird the "hip" is at the base of the body, and the legs are short-ish. But cartoon is fine. Now let's set up the animation: crank rotates 360° over 1s (or 1.2s). Pedals counter-rotate to stay horizontal. Legs: thigh rotation and shin rotation need keyframes at φ = 0, 90, 180, 270, 360 with values computed. Use spline or linear interpolation (linear is fine, small error). Actually the crank rotates at constant rate, so keyTimes 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1 with the 4 computed values. Linear interpolation between these will be a bit off from true IK but visually fine. Crank: rotate from 0 to 360 over duration T. Let me use T = 1.1s? Let's use 1s for simplicity... Actually a nice cycling cadence ~ 0.9s per revolution. Let's use 1s. Wait — but there are two legs. Both attach to the same crank but opposite (180° apart). The second leg can be the same but with keyframes shifted by half. Since I computed values for 4 positions, the other leg uses φ+180 → values at 180, 270, 0, 90 order. Left leg (far side, drawn behind bike): could be same animation but offset. Let's just draw one far leg (darker) and one near leg. The far leg is at the opposite phase. Far leg: keyTimes 0, .25, .5, .75, 1 → thigh values for φ=180,270,0,90,180: -63.5, -94.9, -73.1, -47.3, -63.5. Shin: 32.8, 15.1, -9.03, 0.7, 32.8. Near leg: φ=0,90,180,270,360: thigh -73.1, -47.3, -63.5, -94.9, -73.1. Shin: -9.03, 0.7, 32.8, 15.1, -9.03. Hmm, wait. Shin rot values: -9.03 to 32.8. That's a swing, ok. Hmm, but actually, hold on. The far leg should be at the opposite crank position, and also drawn behind. Both legs' pedal feet attach at the pedals which are 180° apart. Good, consistent. Now, animateTransform with values as a list of numbers for rotate: values="-73.1;-47.3;-63.5;-94.9;-73.1" with keyTimes="0;0.25;0.5;0.75;1" dur="1s" repeatCount="indefinite". Note: for rotate, "values" is a list of angles; yes that works. Hmm, but one problem: linear interpolation between keyframes gives slightly wrong foot position at intermediate times, so the foot may not exactly touch the pedal. With 4 keys it might be off by a few pixels. Let's add more keyframes (8 keys, every 45°) to reduce error. Let me compute for φ = 0, 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270, 315, 360. Let me do the math. Constants: H=(335,255), C=(400,375), r=36, L1=90, L2=95. Vector C-H = (65, 120). For crank angle φ, P = (400 + 36cosφ, 375 + 36 sinφ). Let me just compute numerically. φ=0: computed above: thigh rot -73.1, shin rot -9.0. φ=45: P = (400+36*0.7071, 375+36*0.7071) = (425.46, 400.46). dx = 90.46, dy = 145.46. d = √(8183 + 21159) = √29342 = 171.3. Hmm, that exceeds... L1+L2 = 185, fine. α = atan2(145.46, 90.46) = 58.13°. β = acos((d² + L1² - L2²)/(2 d L1)) = (29342 + 8100 - 9025)/(2*171.3*90) = 28417/30834 = 0.9216 → β = 22.83°. thighAngle = 58.13 - 22.83 = 35.30°. thigh rot = -54.70°. Knee = H + 90*(cos35.3, sin35.3) = (335 + 73.44, 255 + 51.99) = (408.44, 306.99). Shin vector: P - K = (17.02, 93.47), len = 95.0 ✓. angle = atan2(93.47, 17.02) = 79.68°. shin rot = -10.32°. φ=90: thigh rot -47.3, shin rot 0.7. (computed above: thighAngle 42.7, shinAngle 90.7) φ=135: P = (400 - 25.46, 375 + 25.46) = (374.54, 400.46). dx = 39.54, dy = 145.46. d = √(1563 + 21159) = √22722 = 150.74. α = atan2(145.46, 39.54) = 74.79°. β = acos((22722 + 8100 - 9025)/(2*150.74*90)) = (21797)/(27133) = 0.8033 → 36.55°. thighAngle = 74.79 - 36.55 = 38.24°. thigh rot = -51.76°. Knee = H + 90*(cos38.24, sin38.24) = (335 + 70.72, 255 + 55.72) = (405.72, 310.72). Shin: P - K = (-31.18, 89.74), len = 95.0 ✓. angle = atan2(89.74, -31.18) = 109.16°. shin rot = 19.16°. φ=180: thigh rot -63.5, shin rot 32.8. (thighAngle 26.5, shinAngle 122.8) φ=225: P = (400 - 25.46, 375 - 25.46) = (374.54, 349.54). dx = 39.54, dy = 94.54. d = √(1563 + 8938) = √10501 = 102.47. α = atan2(94.54, 39.54) = 67.30°. β = acos((10501 + 8100 - 9025)/(2*102.47*90)) = 9576/18445 = 0.5191 → 58.72°. thighAngle = 67.30 - 58.72 = 8.58°. thigh rot = -81.42°. Knee = H + 90*(cos8.58, sin8.58) = (335 + 88.99, 255 + 13.43) = (423.99, 268.43). Shin: P - K = (-49.45, 81.11), len = 95.0 ✓. angle = atan2(81.11, -49.45) = 121.37°. shin rot = 31.37°. φ=270: thigh rot -94.9, shin rot 15.1. φ=315: P = (400 + 25.46, 375 - 25.46) = (425.46, 349.54). dx = 90.46, dy = 94.54. d = √(8183 + 8938) = √17121 = 130.85. α = atan2(94.54, 90.46) = 46.27°. β = acos((17121 + 8100 - 9025)/(2*130.85*90)) = 16196/23553 = 0.6876 → 46.57°. thighAngle = 46.27 - 46.57 = -0.30°. thigh rot = -90.30°. Knee = H + 90*(cos(-0.3), sin(-0.3)) = (335 + 90.0, 255 - 0.47) = (425.0, 254.53). Shin: P - K = (0.46, 95.01), len 95.0 ✓. angle = 89.72°. shin rot = -0.28°. So near leg sequence (φ=0,45,90,135,180,225,270,315,360): thigh rot: -73.1, -54.7, -47.3, -51.8, -63.5, -81.4, -94.9, -90.3, -73.1 shin rot: -9.0, -10.3, 0.7, 19.2, 32.8, 31.4, 15.1, -0.3, -9.0 Far leg (φ + 180 → shift by 4): starting at φ=180: thigh rot: -63.5, -81.4, -94.9, -90.3, -73.1, -54.7, -47.3, -51.8, -63.5 shin rot: 32.8, 31.4, 15.1, -0.3, -9.0, -10.3, 0.7, 19.2, 32.8 Great. Wait, the far leg is the one behind, whose pedal is at φ+180. Yes. Hmm, actually which leg is which? The near-side crank arm points at φ and the far-side crank arm points at φ+180. So if the near leg's foot is at φ, the far leg's foot is at φ+180. Good. Now the crank: rotate the crank arm group by φ from 0 to 360. The pedal needs to stay horizontal — actually the pedal just needs to not rotate weirdly; real pedals stay horizontal. I can draw the pedal at the crank end with a counter-rotation. But since I'm placing the feet there... hmm, actually the feet are drawn via the leg IK, which places the foot exactly at the pedal. So I could skip drawing separate pedals, or draw pedals that stay horizontal. Let me draw the pedal as a small rounded rect at the crank end, in a group that rotates +φ with the crank and then the pedal itself counter-rotates -φ. That requires two nested animateTransform. Simpler: just draw the pedal as a small circle/rect at the crank end rotating with the crank — a slightly rotating pedal is not very noticeable. Or: keep it simple and draw a small ellipse pedal, rotating along. Fine. Actually, I'll add a counter-rotation for realism; nested groups with animateTransform is easy: That works since the pedal's rotation origin is fixed relative to the crank's local frame. Good. Now let's design the whole scene. ViewBox: 0 0 900 560. Ground: y = 470. Wheels radius 90, centers at y=375, so bottom at 465. Good, ground at 465. Let's place: rear wheel center (240, 375), front wheel center (560, 375). Bike frame: - Rear hub (240,375), front hub (560,375) - Bottom bracket (400, 375) - Seat tube from BB (400,375) to seat post top (310, 240)? That's the seat tube going up-left. Actually seat tube goes from BB up and slightly back: to (350, 265). Then seat post continues to (325, 235). Seat at (325,235). - Top tube from (350, 265) to head tube (525, 255). - Down tube from BB (400,375) to head tube bottom (525, 275). - Head tube: from (525,255) to (535, 285). - Fork: from (535, 285) down to front hub (560, 375). - Chain stays: BB to rear hub. - Seat stays: (350,265) to rear hub (240,375). - Handlebar: from top of head tube (525,255) up to (520, 225) then bar going right/back to (560, 215)? Let's make handlebars curved. Pelican: - Body: an egg shape centered at ~(320, 190), tilted. - Neck going up-right to head at (445, 115). - Head: circle at (445, 112), r ~ 33. - Beak: upper mandible long and pointed from (470, 100) to (640, 130); pouch (lower mandible) sagging from (470, 122) curve down to (620, 135) with a pouch bulge. - Eye: at (455, 105). - Wing: on the body, maybe flapping slightly. - Tail feathers: at back (250, 190). Hmm, body center (320,190) — the seat is at (325, 235). So the body sits on the seat. Good. Let me refine the pelican body shape. A pelican's body is chunky. Let's draw a path: Body outline: start at tail (255, 165), curve up over the back to (330, 130) then to the shoulder (400, 150)... hmm, let me think about the head/neck. Actually, an easier approach: body as a rotated ellipse. Use . Neck: a thick path from the front-top of the body (390, 155) curving up to the head at (450, 115). Use a stroke with round linecap, width ~30, tapering. Actually a path with stroke-width 34 from (385,165) to (445,120) curving. Head: circle cx=452 cy=112 r=30. Hmm, the neck and head should merge. Beak: Pelican beak is huge. Upper mandible: from head front (478, 100) extending forward-down to tip (660, 140). Lower mandible/pouch: from (478, 120) curving down and forward: pouch bottom around (570, 175) then to tip (660, 140). That's a big pouch. Let me draw the beak as one path: M 476 98 L 662 138 (upper edge to tip) then the pouch: from tip back along lower edge: C 640 175, 560 190, 500 172 → to (490,140)? then close back to head. Hmm, let me structure: Pouch path: M 480 105 C 540 100, 620 118, 660 138 C 620 185, 520 195, 480 150 Z Something like that gives the classic pelican pouch. Then the upper mandible as a separate path on top: M 478 98 L 662 138 L 660 130 L 480 88 Z — a thin sliver? Hmm. Let's do it more simply: - Pouch (lower beak): path from (478, 112) → curve to tip (658, 132) → back via a deep sag curve to (478, 138) → close. Fill a light orange. - Upper mandible: path from (478, 100) → to tip (658, 132) → back slightly to (478, 118) → close. Fill a darker orange/yellow. Draw upper on top of pouch. Actually the pouch should be behind/below. Let's draw pouch first, then upper mandible. Add a subtle animation: the pouch wobbles slightly, and the beak... maybe the whole head bobs. Let's keep it simple: head group with a slight rotate wobble. Sun/clouds background, scrolling ground and road markings to give the sense of motion. Wheels rotating with spokes. Let's write it. Colors: - Sky: gradient from #bfe9ff to #fff6e0 - Sun: #ffd chambers... #FFD36E - Clouds: white with opacity - Road: #6b7280 dark strip with dashes - Grass line: #8fd694 - Bike: #E63946 (red frame), wheels dark #2b2b2b with silver rims - Pelican: body #FFFFFF / #F2F5F8 with shading, beak #FFB627 / #FF9500, pouch #FFC94A with a slightly deeper tone, legs #FF9F43. Let's write the HTML. ```html 鹈鹕骑自行车 ``` Now the SVG content. Defs: - linearGradient sky - radialGradient sun glow - linearGradient ground Background elements with scrolling animation: for clouds, animate transform translateX from 0 to -900 over 20s linear loop... but that would show a jump. Use two copies offset. Or just animate cloud from x=-200 to x=1100 over 30s (they'd teleport). Better: draw clouds twice, spaced 900 apart? Eh. Simplest: clouds move slowly and repeat with a seamless pattern: put clouds in a group that translates from 0 to -900, with the pattern repeating every 900 units. So I'd draw clouds covering x=0..1800. Hmm, that's more work. Alternative: don't scroll the clouds; just scroll the ground/road dashes (which is the main motion cue). Clouds can drift gently back and forth. Let's keep clouds with a small sway animation and have the hills scroll. For hills: draw a repeating hill path? Simpler: draw a few bushes/trees that scroll from right to left and loop. Use a group of like 6 bushes spread over x=-100 to 1100, and animate translate x from 0 to -400 over 4s... but then it jumps. To loop seamlessly, we need the pattern to be periodic with the shift distance. Option: Use a group with a repeating pattern via ``? Pattern fill with animated patternTransform — that's a neat trick! Create a pattern tile with a bush, and animate patternTransform translate. That gives infinite scrolling. But pattern in SVG with animateTransform on patternTransform... it works in browsers I think. Let's use it for the road dashes at least. Actually simpler and reliable: use a road with dashed stroke and animate stroke-dashoffset! That's the classic. Plus for hills/bushes, I can just have a couple of grass tufts moving across and resetting — since they're small and the loop period is long, a slight jump is barely noticeable. Or skip. Let's do: 1. Road line at y=465 with a dashed line animated via stroke-dashoffset → perfect infinite scroll. 2. Some small pebbles/dashes on the road also animated with dashoffset. Actually, for the ground, I'll do: a green strip from y=465 to y=480 (grass), then road from 480 to 560. Hmm, but the wheels touch y=465. Let's say grass strip y 465-500, and the road below 500? A bike on the road would have the wheels at the road. Let's simplify: ground from y=465 (grass/road combined). Let me do: - Sky 0 to 430. - Distant hills around y=400-465. - Ground/road: rect from y=465 to 560, fill #4a5568 (asphalt). With a lighter edge line at y=467. - Dashed white line at y=515, animated dashoffset. - Grass tufts on the horizon line. Good. Now the wheels: draw spokes. Rotating the wheel group rotates the spokes. Also the pelican's legs — I'll draw the far leg behind the bike frame and the near leg in front. Order of drawing: 1. Sky, sun, clouds, hills 2. Road 3. Far leg (behind everything) 4. Far crank arm + far pedal 5. Bike (wheels, frame) 6. Pelican body, head, beak, wing 7. Near leg 8. Near crank + pedal 9. Handlebar (in front) Hmm, but the near crank arm should be in front of the frame? The crank is at the BB. The near crank arm and pedal are on the near side, so front. Yes. Wait, but the legs: the far leg's foot is on the far pedal, near leg's foot on the near pedal. Let me draw: - far leg + far pedal + far crank (behind bike) - bike - pelican - near crank + near pedal + near leg Hmm, near crank arm should be drawn in front of the chainring. OK. Now the pelican body needs to be positioned. Let's re-check hip position (335,255): the body's bottom should be around y=255 at x=335. Body ellipse center (320,190) rx 95 ry 70 rotate -12 → bottom around y=190+70 = 260 at the center. Rotated -12°, the bottom point shifts. Roughly OK. Actually, let me reconsider: the seat top is at ~235 and the body bottom at ~258, so the pelican is sitting on the seat with the body overlapping. Fine. Let's now write the actual shapes. **Wheel** (as a reusable group, defined at origin so I can translate): ```svg ... ``` I'll just write out the spokes with 12 spokes at 30° increments. Let me compute: 80*cos, 80*sin for angles 0,30,60,90,... cos0=1 → (80,0); 30 → (69.3,40); 60 → (40,69.3); 90 → (0,80). And negatives. I'll write lines for all 12. Actually to reduce code, use a `` with a line and rotate copies... nah, just write 6 lines through the center (each line spans both sides): - (0,-80) to (0,80) - (-80,0) to (80,0) - (-69.3,-40) to (69.3,40) - (69.3,-40) to (-69.3,40) - (-40,-69.3) to (40,69.3) - (40,-69.3) to (-40,69.3) That's 6 lines = 12 spokes. Then `` — but with rotation animation on a group inside. Better: define the wheel with its own animateTransform? No, each use would share. Let's define the wheel graphic as a `` with the rotation animation inside, then `` twice — both instances animate identically which is correct (same speed). Actually yes! Both wheels rotate at the same rate. So put the animateTransform inside the def and use it twice. But do animations inside ``/`` run? Yes, if it's a `` in `` referenced by ``, the animation runs in the referenced content. Actually, `` creates a shadow copy; SMIL animations inside referenced content... I believe it works and both instances animate in sync. Hmm, I'm not 100% sure. Safer: define the sprite without animation and put the wheel group twice with its own animation each. It's just a few extra lines. Let me use a `` inside defs and reference it. Hmm. Let me just write the wheel group twice with the animation each time. Slightly verbose but reliable. Actually, I can use `` inside a group that has the rotation animation: ```svg ``` Hmm, `` translates, and the rotate is around (240,375) applied to the group. The group's transform rotate is applied to the use's translated content. That works: use places wheel graphic (centered at origin) at (240,375), and the group rotates about (240,375). But `` with x/y: the x,y are an additional translate. Yes that works. Let me use `` in defs containing circles/lines centered at origin. Actually, hmm, `` referencing an element in `` works fine. OK. Let's write. Bike frame details (with the frame color): Rear hub: (240,375), Front hub: (560,375), BB: (400,375). Seat tube top: (348, 258) — hmm let's make the seat post go up to the seat at (330, 240). Actually the seat tube from BB (400,375) to (350, 262). Then seat post (350,262) → (335,235). Seat: a small shape at (335, 232). Top tube: (350,262) → (528, 258)? Hmm, that's nearly horizontal. Let's make head tube from (525, 250) to (540, 285). Let me define: - Head tube: line from (522, 248) to (540, 288), width 12. - Top tube: (350, 262) → (525, 255). - Down tube: (400, 375) → (535, 285). - Seat tube: (400, 375) → (350, 262). - Chain stay: (400, 375) → (240, 375). - Seat stay: (350, 262) → (240, 375). - Fork: (536, 288) → (560, 375). - Handlebar stem: (522, 248) → (515, 222), then the bar curves: path M 515 222 C 530 205, 555 208, 565 220 — a curved bar going right. Hmm, pelican would hold the bars. The pelican's wing/hand would be around (500, 215)? The pelican body is up at y~190 and the handlebar is at y~215. Close enough that a wing could reach. Hmm, actually the pelican body's front is around x=400, y=190 and the handlebars are at x=520,y=220. So the wing would extend forward-right from the body to the bar. That's fine — a wing shape from (400,175) to (505, 215). Seat: an ellipse at (333, 232) rx 26 ry 9, rotated a bit, fill #2b2b2b. Now, the pelican's hip at (335,255) is right below the seat. Hmm, the seat is at y=232 and the hip at 255 — the leg would start inside/below the seat. Since the body covers it, fine. Actually let me raise the hip a bit: hip at (340, 250). Eh, keep as computed for the leg animation: I computed with H=(335,255). I'll keep it. Now the body: ellipse center (320,190), rx=100, ry=72, rotate(-14 320 190). Fill: white gradient. Tail: a path at the back-left: from (230, 175) to (195, 205) etc. Pointy feathers. Neck: path from the body front-top (390, 150) curving up to (440, 125). Draw as a thick stroked path: `` Hmm, the neck should taper. A stroked path with round cap gives a uniform tube. Good enough with the head circle covering the top. Head: circle at (450, 112) r=32? Then the neck tube of width 42 would be wider than the head. Let's make the neck width 34 and head r=30. Hmm, but the neck at (380,165) — the body's top-right region. Body ellipse center (320,190) rx100 ry72 rotated -14°: point at angle... the ellipse extends to x=420 at the center height. The top-right region around (390,150) — is it inside? Let's check: unrotate (390,150) by +14° around (320,190): dx=70, dy=-40. Rotating by +14°: x' = 70*cos14 + (-40)*(-sin14)... let me be careful. Rotation by -14° in SVG (clockwise? no). In SVG, rotate(a) rotates clockwise for positive a (since y is down). rotate(-14) rotates counterclockwise by 14°. Point (390,150) relative to center: (70, -40). Apply inverse rotation (+14°): x'' = 70*cos14 - (-40)*sin14 = 70*0.9703 + 40*0.2419 = 67.9 + 9.7 = 77.6 y'' = 70*sin14 + (-40)*cos14 = 16.9 - 38.8 = -21.9 Ellipse test: (77.6/100)² + (21.9/72)² = 0.602 + 0.0925 = 0.695 < 1. Inside. Good. Now the head at (450,112). Distance from body top... The neck connects. Fine. Beak from head: head front at (478, 105). Pouch path: M 476 108 C 530 112, 600 122, 655 140 ← upper edge going out to the tip (the top of the lower mandible) C 620 190, 540 195, 490 165 ← the pouch sag going back C 478 150, 472 130, 476 108 ← back to the head Z Hmm, that might look weird. Let me instead make the pouch a shape whose top edge is a straight-ish line from the head to the tip, and whose bottom is a deep curve. Pouch: `M 474 106 L 656 138 C 610 196, 520 200, 476 158 Z` That's: straight top edge from (474,106) to (656,138); then a curve from the tip back to (476,158) sagging down to about y=196; then close with a line back to (474,106). Then the upper mandible: `M 472 96 L 660 132 L 656 138 L 474 106 Z` — a thin wedge. Hmm, that's a thin beak. A pelican's upper mandible is also long and has some depth. Let's make it: `M 470 92 C 540 96, 610 112, 660 132 L 654 142 C 600 124, 530 112, 472 110 Z`. Hmm, this is getting complicated. Let me simplify: draw the whole beak as one shape (the pouch), then draw a line along the top of the beak (the mandible line) as a stroke. That's clean and cartoonish. Beak shape: ``` ``` And a top line: ``. Hmm, but the top of the beak should bulge slightly up. Let's just go with it; it'll look like a pelican beak. Actually, real pelican beak: the upper mandible is a long flat blade on top, and the pouch hangs below with the lower mandible. The top line from the head slopes slightly downward to the tip. Yes, that's what I have. Add a subtle pouch wobble: animate the pouch path? Can use `` on `d` with a couple of keyframes. SMIL path morphing works if the paths have the same structure. Let's do a gentle wobble. Maybe simpler: have the whole head+beak group bob with a slight rotation and the wing flap. Let's do: ```svg ...head, beak... ``` Hmm, but the head rotation around the head center would move the beak a lot (it's long). Maybe rotate around the neck base (440, 130) with only ±1.5°. Actually a bobbing motion is nice. Let's use a translate up/down instead: `values="0 0; 0 -4; 0 0; 0 4; 0 0"` dur 1s. Hmm, that could look like the head is bouncing with the pedaling. Nice. Careful: the neck must connect. If the head moves but the neck doesn't, there'd be a gap. Use a wide neck and small movement (±3px). Fine. Let's instead animate the whole pelican body+head together with a slight vertical bob — but then the legs' hip moves while I computed the leg IK with a fixed hip. The legs are attached to the body... Ugh. Let's keep the body still and bob only the head slightly (±3px), with the neck drawn as a thick shape that overlaps both. OK, let's also animate the wing flapping slightly. Now, let's also animate the wheels at 1 rev/sec (same as the crank). Actually the wheel rotation speed should relate to the crank speed by the gear ratio, but visually anything works. Let's use 1s for the crank and 0.6s for the wheels? Hmm, if the wheels rotate faster than the crank it looks fast. Real bikes: wheel rotates ~2-3x the crank rate. Let's do crank 1.2s and wheels 0.5s. Hmm, but then the pedal/leg motion is 1.2s per cycle, which is slow-ish but fine and looks nice. Actually let's sync: crank 1s, wheels 0.5s. Fine. Hmm wait, actually the wheels at 0.5s/rev = 2 rev/s. With a wheel circumference of ~2.4m that's ~5 m/s = 18 km/h. And the crank at 1 rev/s = 60 rpm. Ratio 2. That's reasonable. Let's write the code. Also add subtle shadow under the bike: an ellipse at (400, 470) rx 220 ry 14, fill black opacity 0.15. But it should stay flat while the ground moves. Just a static shadow. Now let's write everything out. ```html 鹈鹕骑自行车 ``` Now the scene. Background: ```svg ``` Clouds: ```svg ... ``` Simple cloud = a few overlapping ellipses. Hills: ```svg ``` Hmm, T commands make a smooth wave. Let's do two layers with different colors. Layer 1 (far, lighter): `M -50 466 Q 100 386 250 466 Q 400 386 550 466 Q 700 386 850 466 Q 950 416 1050 466 L 1050 500 L -50 500 Z` fill #b9e3c6. Hmm, wait, hills should be visible above the ground line. Let me set ground line at y=465. Hills: from y=465 up. Fill light green, and then ground on top from 465 down. Layer2 (near): `M -50 465 Q 60 415 170 465 Q 280 415 390 465 Q 500 415 610 465 Q 720 415 830 465 Q 940 415 1050 465 L 1050 500 L -50 500 Z` fill #8ecfa4. Then the ground: `` — hmm, the ground should be more like a road. Let me do: grass strip y 465..500 (#7cc47f), then asphalt y 500..560 (#4b5563). But then the bike's wheels at y=465 rest on the grass. That's fine, it looks like a path. Actually, simpler: keep everything at the same level: the ground is green grass, and there's a dirt path. Let's do: - grass band: rect y=465 height=95 fill #86c98a - darker grass line at y=465-472 - road: rect y=500 height=60 fill #5b6472, with a lighter top edge. - dashed center line on the road at y=530, white, animated dashoffset. Hmm, but the bike sits at y=465 on the grass with the road below at 500 — that's a bit odd but it's a common cartoon composition (the bike on a path with the road behind/below). Actually it looks like the bike is riding on a green field with a road below it. Weird. Let's simplify: the bike rides on a road. Road from y=465 to 560 with asphalt color, plus a dashed center line at y=520 animated. And grass tufts / bushes at the top edge of the road (y≈465) that also scroll... Hmm, but a big gray band at the bottom isn't pretty. Alternative: the bike rides on a light-colored path with grass all around. Let me do: - Ground: green from y=465 to 560. - A path/road band: from y=465 to 500 in a sandy color, with a dashed line animated. Nah. Simplest attractive option: - Green grass ground from y=465. - A row of scrolling dashes along y=485 (like a trail marker) — no, dashes on grass look odd. - Scrolling grass tufts and small flowers at y≈470-490 to convey motion. I think the cleanest: the ground is a road (asphalt) with a dashed center line, and a green strip just above it that has scrolling bushes/tufts along the horizon. The bike rides on the asphalt near the top of the road. Layout: - y 0..455: sky + hills - y 455..470: green grass strip (a thin band along the horizon) - y 470..560: asphalt road, dark gray. Bike wheels touch y=470. Hmm, then the wheels are at y=470 with the road below. The bike occupies 470 down to... no, the wheels are above the road. OK: wheel bottom at y=465. Let the road start at y=465. Above it, grass strip from 440 to 465 (25px tall). Distant hills behind at 400-440. Then the dashed road line at y=520 animated with dashoffset. And scrolling grass tufts / small bushes sitting at y≈462 along the road's top edge, animated by dashoffset trick or by a repeating translate. Actually for the tufts, I could use a ``. Let me try a pattern with animated patternTransform: ```svg ``` Hmm, animating patternTransform with SMIL — supported? I believe animateTransform on patternTransform works in Chrome/Firefox. Risky. Alternative approach: define the scrolling group with all tufts and animate it, and make the pattern width such that the animation loops seamlessly. E.g., place tufts at x = 0,120,240,...,1080 and animate translate from 0 to -120 then jump back — but the jump is invisible because the pattern repeats every 120. Since I place actual tufts (not a pattern), I'd need to also include the tuft at x=120 that "wraps" to x=0... If I draw tufts every 120px from x=-120 to x=1020+, and animate the group from translate(0,0) to translate(-120,0) then loop, the visual is seamless — everything shifts left by 120, and since the tufts repeat every 120, it looks identical. Yes! That works. Same trick for the road dashes. Let me use that for both the tufts and the road dashes. Actually for the road dashes I could use stroke-dashoffset, but let's use the same group-shift trick with dashed pattern... eh, dashoffset is easy for a straight line: ```svg ``` Hmm, dashoffset animation from 110 to 0 moves the dashes forward (to the right)? Increasing dashoffset shifts the pattern backward. Let's think: stroke-dashoffset positive shifts the dash pattern start backwards along the path. So animating from 0 to -110 would move dashes forward. Let's animate from 0 to -110 → dashes move in the +x direction. We want them to move in -x direction (bike moves right). So animate from 0 to 110. Then the dashes appear to move left. Yes: from="0" to="110" over 0.35s with a period of 110 → seamless. OK good. Similarly for tufts, use the group-shift with seamless loop. Let me now write the tufts: small grass clusters + a couple of tiny flowers, spaced 120 apart from x=-120 to x=1140. Each tuft: a few small paths. That'd be a lot of markup. Let me instead use `` for each. With a `` in defs containing 3 blades of grass. That's clean. ```svg ``` Hmm, then ``. y=465 puts the base at the ground line. Good. I'll place tufts at x = -120, 0, 120, 240, ..., 1080 (11 of them). With varying scale maybe. Keep it simple: all the same, but I could add a flower `` too. Let's just do grass tufts plus some tiny flowers on a couple. Alright, and the group animates translate from 0 to -120 over 2.4s. Wait: the shift is -120 but the tufts repeat every 120 → seamless. Now the road region: from y=465 down. Let me put the asphalt from 465 to 560. Actually, that's 95px of dark gray — a big chunk of the image. Let me reduce the viewBox height or move things up. Let's set viewBox to 0 0 900 520, ground at y=440? Hmm, but I need room for the bike (wheels at r=92, center 375, so the top of the wheels at 283). Let me reconsider the vertical layout. Total height 560: - Sky: 0-465 (83%) - Ground: 465-560 (17%) That's reasonable actually. The bike occupies y=240..465. Fine. Let me make the asphalt a nicer color, like #5a6472 with a lighter top edge highlight, plus the dashed line. And add a subtle darker vignette. OK. Now writing all the components. ### Bike frame Colors: frame #e63946 with highlights, or a teal #1f9e8a? Let's use a warm red-orange: #e0533a. Hmm, the pelican is white/yellow. A teal bike would contrast nicely: #17708a or #2a9d8f. Let's go with #2a9d8f... Actually red is classic and pops against the blue sky and green grass. Let's use #e63946 with dark #b32b36 accents. Hmm, the beak is orange; red might clash. Let's use teal #1b8a8f. Hmm. I'll go with a deep blue-teal: #12707f? Let's just pick #2a9d8f (nice teal-green). Against the green grass might blend. Ugh. Final choice: red frame #e63946. It contrasts with everything (sky blue, green grass, orange beak, white pelican). Good. Frame drawing: ```svg ``` Wait, the fork should go from the head tube bottom (538,288) to the front hub (560,375). And the front wheel center is (560,375). Good. Bottom bracket: circle at (400,375) r=14 fill #374151, plus a chainring circle r=26 fill #cbd5e1 opacity .8? A chainring would be nice. Chain: a line from the chainring to the rear hub, top and bottom. Let's add: a path from (400,349) to (240,368) and from (400,401) to (240,382). Simple lines with stroke #4b5563 width 3. Actually with the chainring r=26 and hub r=9: top chain from (400,375-26)=(400,349) to (240,375-9)=(240,366); bottom chain from (400,401) to (240,384). Good enough. Handlebar: from (524,250) up to (516,224) — the stem — then the bar: a curve. Let's do: ```svg ``` Hmm. The handlebar grip would be around (566,228)? That's to the right of the head tube and below the pelican's body. The pelican's wing would reach there. Hmm, actually for a pelican, maybe the wings hold the bars. The pelican's body front is at ~(410,190). The handlebar is at (516,226) — the wing would extend down-right from the body's front to the bar. OK. Let me simplify the handlebar into a curved drop bar: ```svg ``` This makes a nice curved bar. The grip is at the end (570,244)... hmm that's low. Let's have the pelican's wing tip rest near (556, 222). Simplify: the wing reaches toward the bar curve, the "hand" at about (548, 218). Fine. Let's build the pelican's wing as a shape from the shoulder (395,170) curving down to the tip at (545, 220). Wing path: ```svg ``` Hmm, that's a wing draped forward-down. Let me think: the shoulder is at the top-front of the body (395,165). The wing sweeps forward and down to (545, 222) where the bar is. The wing's lower edge curves back to the body's bottom-front (405, 225). ```svg ``` That's a wing shape going forward. Good. Add feather lines. Hmm, this is getting long. Let me be careful to keep everything coherent while writing the final markup. ### Pelican legs Near leg (drawn in front): ```svg ``` But wait — the animateTransform values list for a rotate needs the center too if not at the origin. Since the thigh group is translated to the hip, I should structure it so rotations are about the local origin: ```svg ``` Wait — there's a problem: `transform="translate(335,255)"` on the outer group and `animateTransform` on the inner group. The inner group's transform animation replaces its transform (which is identity initially), so it's fine. But careful: the animateTransform on an element that already has a transform attribute will override it. I use separate groups, so it's fine. The shin group at translate(0,90) — that's the knee. The shin's own rotation happens around the knee. Good. But the foot: the foot should be at the pedal which is at distance... The shin length 95 from the knee reaches the pedal. Good. And the shin's angle computed places the foot exactly at the pedal. But hold on — the shin rotation values I computed were the absolute angle minus 90. And the shin is inside the thigh's rotated group, so its own rotation is relative to the thigh. Oops! That's a problem. Right: nested rotations compose. If the shin is inside the thigh group which is rotated by θ_t, then the shin's own rotation must be θ_s - θ_t to achieve the absolute shin angle θ_s. Let me recompute: I have the absolute thigh rotations (θ_t = thighAngle - 90) and absolute shin rotations (θ_s = shinAngle - 90). The nested shin rotation should be θ_s - θ_t. Compute for each φ: φ=0: θ_t = -73.1, θ_s = -9.0 → relative = 64.1 φ=45: θ_t = -54.7, θ_s = -10.3 → relative = 44.4 φ=90: θ_t = -47.3, θ_s = 0.7 → relative = 48.0 φ=135: θ_t = -51.8, θ_s = 19.2 → relative = 71.0 φ=180: θ_t = -63.5, θ_s = 32.8 → relative = 96.3 φ=225: θ_t = -81.4, θ_s = 31.4 → relative = 112.8 φ=270: θ_t = -94.9, θ_s = 15.1 → relative = 110.0 φ=315: θ_t = -90.3, θ_s = -0.3 → relative = 90.0 φ=360: θ_t = -73.1, θ_s = -9.0 → relative = 64.1 Good — knee bends between 44 and 113 degrees relative. Makes sense (the knee bends more when the pedal is at the back/bottom). For the far leg, shift by 4 positions (φ+180): thigh: -63.5, -81.4, -94.9, -90.3, -73.1, -54.7, -47.3, -51.8, -63.5 shin relative: 96.3, 112.8, 110.0, 90.0, 64.1, 44.4, 48.0, 71.0, 96.3 Let me double check the far leg: near leg at φ uses values at index i where φ = i*45. Far leg foot at φ+180 which is index (i+4) mod 8. So the far leg's values list = near list rotated by 4. near thigh list: [-73.1, -54.7, -47.3, -51.8, -63.5, -81.4, -94.9, -90.3, -73.1] far thigh list: [-63.5, -81.4, -94.9, -90.3, -73.1, -54.7, -47.3, -51.8, -63.5] ✓ (starts at index 4) near shin rel: [64.1, 44.4, 48.0, 71.0, 96.3, 112.8, 110.0, 90.0, 64.1] far shin rel: [96.3, 112.8, 110.0, 90.0, 64.1, 44.4, 48.0, 71.0, 96.3] ✓ Great. keyTimes: 0, 0.125, 0.25, 0.375, 0.5, 0.625, 0.75, 0.875, 1 dur="1.2s" Hmm, with dur="1.2s", the wheel should be at 0.6s to keep the 2:1 ratio. Actually let me use dur="1s" for the legs/crank and dur="0.5s" for the wheels. Now, the crank animation also needs to be at the same phase. The crank arm on the near side points at φ. At t=0, φ=0 → crank arm horizontal pointing right (+x). The near pedal at (436,375) and the near foot at that position. ✓ consistent with the leg IK. Pedal position: the pedal is drawn at the end of the crank arm, at a local position of (36, 0) rotated by φ around (400,375). Let me create the crank group: ```svg ``` Wait, the pedal rect centered at (436,375): x from 417 to 455, y from 368 to 382. Yes with width 38, height 14, x=417, y=368. OK. But this group is inside the crank group which rotates around (400,375). The pedal's counter-rotation around (436,375) in the crank's local frame — since the crank's rotation moves the point (436,375) to elsewhere, and the inner rotation is around the local (436,375) which maps to the pedal's actual position. Yes! The composition works: the inner rotation is applied in the crank's coordinate system, so its center (436,375) is the pedal's location in that system. The net effect is the pedal stays horizontal. ✓ Hold on, does it? The crank rotates by φ. A point p in the crank's local frame maps to R_φ(p - C) + C. The pedal group's local transform is R_-φ around (436,375). So a point q in the pedal's frame maps to the crank frame as R_-φ(q - (436,375)) + (436,375), then to the world as R_φ(that - C) + C. The net rotation is R_φ · R_-φ = identity. ✓ Yes, the pedal stays axis-aligned. Great. Now, the far leg and far crank: the far crank arm points at φ+180, and the far pedal. Draw those behind the bike. Phase offset: the far crank should be from 180 to 540. So: ```svg ``` OK. Now, drawing order. Let me finalize: 1. Background (sky, sun, clouds, hills, road, tufts) 2. Bike shadow 3. Far crank + far pedal + far leg 4. Wheels + frame + chainring + chain 5. Seat, handlebar... hmm, the handlebar should be in front of nothing in particular. The pelican's wing overlaps the bar. Let's put the wing in front. 6. Pelican body, neck, head, beak, wing 7. Near crank + near pedal + near leg 8. Handlebar grip? The wing rests on it. Fine. Hmm, but the far leg is drawn behind the bike, and the pelican's body is in front — good. Wait, the near leg is drawn in front of the pelican's body? The near thigh starts at the hip which is under the body. Drawing the near leg after the body means the hip joint shows over the body. That's fine if the body covers it... no, if drawn after, the leg is on top of the body. It would look like the leg's rounded cap is on the body. Actually, that's how it should look for a near-side leg. OK, but the thigh's top cap at the hip would be visible on the white body — looks like a leg attached to the body's side. Acceptable and normal in cartoons. Hmm, actually maybe better to draw the near leg before the body but after the frame, so the hip is hidden. But then the leg would be behind the frame elements... no, the leg is at x=335-430, mostly in front of the seat tube region. If the leg is behind the body but in front of the bike, that works. Let's draw: frame → near leg → pelican body. Hmm, but then the near leg's foot, which is at the pedal in front, would be behind... the pedal is also drawn there. Order: frame, near crank/pedal, near leg, then body. Hmm, the leg would be over the crank. Let me just do: - far leg, far crank - wheels, frame - near crank + pedal - near leg - pelican (body covers the hip) That way the near leg is in front of the crank and bike, and the body hides the hip attachment. And the wing (part of the pelican) is in front. Now the pelican body. Let me define the shapes: Body ellipse: cx=320 cy=190 rx=100 ry=72, rotate(-14, 320, 190). Fill url(#bodyGrad). Tail: a path from the back of the body pointing left-up: ```svg ``` Hmm, plus more tail feathers. Let's add two. Neck: ```svg ``` This gives a neck tube from (372,168) to (446,112) with a rounded end at the head. Head: circle cx=452 cy=110 r=31 fill #f7fafd. Hmm, the neck ends at (446,112) with a round cap of r=20. The head circle r=31 at (452,110). Good overlap. Beak attaches at the head's right side. Eye: circle at (462, 96) r=6 fill #2b2b2b, plus a white highlight circle at (464,94) r=2. Hmm, the eye on the head at (452,110) r=31: the eye at (462,96) is up-right. Good. Beak: Upper mandible: `M 468 96 C 530 100, 600 114, 662 134 L 656 146 C 598 124, 528 112, 470 108 Z` — hmm, this is a thin blade. Let's just make the top of the beak a stroke. Actually, let me define the beak as: ```svg ``` Hmm, the upper mandible has to connect to the head. Let's start it at the head, around (470, 96). I'll simplify: draw the beak outline as one shape in a solid color, then add a pouch shape over the lower part with a slightly different color, then a line along the mandible division. Beak base path: ```svg ``` Then the upper mandible overlay: ```svg ``` Hmm, this may look muddy. Alternative: draw the beak as: a big pouch shape (lower, orange), and on top a slimmer upper mandible (lighter yellow) that overlaps the pouch's top edge. Let me define: - Pouch (lower mandible): `M 474 110 C 528 116, 590 126, 660 138 C 618 196, 528 202, 480 160 Z` — starts at (474,110), goes out to the tip, sags back to (480,160), and closes. - Upper mandible: `M 468 86 C 540 92, 610 110, 666 132 C 612 122, 540 106, 474 104 Z` — hmm the tip needs to meet. Let's simplify further with a stylized cartoon approach: the beak is a long triangle-ish shape with a pouch: - Upper: `M 470 92 L 668 130 L 668 138 L 470 106 Z` — a thin quadrilateral. Fill yellow. - Pouch: `M 474 108 L 668 136 C 620 198, 528 202, 478 158 Z` — fill orange. Then the tip of the pouch at (668,136) meets the base of the upper. OK, that works. It's simple and reads as a pelican. Actually, the upper mandible of a pelican has a slight downward hook at the tip. Add: the upper path goes to (668,130) then curves down slightly to (672,142). Meh. Let me just go with: ```svg ``` The upper mandible is a crescent from the head to the tip. Good. Add a nostril line? Skip. The head/beak group bobs: ```svg ... neck is separate, head+beak+eye inside ... ``` Hmm, the neck should also move. Let's put the neck, head, beak, and eye all in the bobbing group. The neck's base at (372,168) would move up/down by 5 — a slight disconnect from the body, but the neck is thick and overlaps the body, so it's fine. Actually, let's make the bob subtle: values="0 0; 0 -4; 0 0; 0 4; 0 0" over 1.2s (matching the pedal cycle). Actually a bobbing head synced to pedaling looks great. Use dur="1.2s"? Wait, no, I set the crank to 1s. Let me just use 1s. Hmm, but I want the crank at 1s and the wheels at 0.5s. Let me use dur="1s" for the head bob. Actually maybe just make it 0.5s to match the wheels? No — the pedal cycle is 1s; the head bobs once per pedal cycle. Use 1s. Hmm, actually maybe simpler to just have a gentle idle sway independent of the pedal. Let's use 1.4s for a natural feel. Fine. Wing flap: the wing is attached to the body; a slight rotation around the shoulder (395,170): ```svg ``` Good. Now the pelican body also needs a slight bob? Skip. Shadow: ellipse at (400, 466) rx 210 ry 10 fill #000 opacity 0.18. Now let's assemble. I'll write the full HTML. One more consideration: the `values` attribute for animateTransform with keyTimes — need `keyTimes` with the same number of entries. And `calcMode="linear"` (default) or `spline`. Linear is fine. Also: the SVG should have `xmlns`. Yes. Let me write it out now. ```html 鹈鹕骑自行车 This is an animated SVG of a pelican riding a bicycle, built with pure HTML and CSS for a playful looped scene. ```html 鹈鹕骑自行车 ``` ### Animation & Visual Highlights The scene uses layered motion and simple shapes to create a lively cycling character. - **Pelican & bike details:** The bird’s body, wing, neck, head, and beak are all built from SVG paths; the near and far legs pedal in sync with the crankset. - **Locomotion loop:** Wheels and pedals rotate continuously, while the roadside grass and road dashes move from right to left to sell forward movement. - **Ambient life:** The wing flaps gently, the head bobs slightly, and clouds drift at different speeds, making the whole scene feel alive. - **Palette & mood:** A soft sky gradient, warm sun glow, and green hills keep the action friendly and energetic. --- **Optimization Tip:** You can adjust the pedaling speed by changing `dur="1s"` on the leg and pedal animations, or the wheel spin speed by editing `dur="0.5s"`. The cloud drift speeds can be tuned by changing the `dur` values on the cloud groups.
