(Socio-Economic Rank){Defining Characteristics}[networth in ... Prompt 1: (Socio-Economic Rank){Defining Characteristics}[networth in 1801] (The Oligarchs, Magnates){Dukes, Top Earls, Multi-estate dynasties}[1.6M GBP] (The Titled Aristocracy, Monied Princes){Viscounts, Barons, East India Directors, Top Bankers}[400K GBP] (The Greater Gentry, Industrial Titans){Baronets, Wealthy Esquires, Mine/Foundry owners}[150K GBP] (The Lesser Gentry, Top Professionals){Minor Esquires, Gentlemen, Barristers, High Clergy}[35K GBP] (The Commercial Middle Class){Substantial Merchants, Shipowners, Manufacturers}[16K GBP] (The Agrarian Middle Class){Yeomen/freeholders & Substantial Tenant Farmers}[4200 GBP] (The Lower-Middle Class "Petite Bourgeoisie"){Shopkeepers, Master Artisans, Curates, Schoolmasters}[900 GBP] (The Elite Working Class){Upper Domestic Servants, Factory Overlookers, Millwrights}[260 GBP] (The Common Laborers, Husbandmen){Agricultural day-laborers, common sailors, soldiers}[65 GBP] (The Indigent, Paupers){Workhouse inmates, parish relief recipients, vagrants}[38 GBP] ///////////// In 1801 uk(talking about the general era of 1750-1850, nothing special about the year). I listed 10 classes above. Now consider this thought experiment: Two men (one higher in class to the other by "n"-levels) and the higher-class man behaves like this: (we will call them LC/HC men aka Lower-class/Higher-class men) (1) HC is respectful, but does not even care about what(but he might be internally curious about the why behind the questions) LC is asking, staring out the window, or at LC or other things, but LC questions are seen as food for thought, instead of inquiries. (2) End result, ignores most of LC questions, but HC does ask some questions. For example: if LC asks, how was your day, HC thinks about it as a food for thought and then looks out of the window and is just chilling. Basically he speaks very little, or when he feels curious, and when he gets curious, he starts asking a lot of questions. But LC questions, he feels bored because he does not seek their validation. For what values of "n", was this seen as perfectly acceptable?
