**Considering script practicality** I need to figure out the best way to manage my code for the desired ov4 system. I might need two scripts—one for the server with around 250 lines and one for the client with about 150 lines if I include everything. I want to decide on the scope so it doesn’t get unwieldy but remains practical. An admin panel would help in managing commands like kick, ban, teleport, freeze, etc. I'll ensure there’s no room for exploitation, and it’s secure with a whitelist for user IDs.**Designing the admin UI** I'm building a UI with a LocalScript located under StarterPlayer's StarterPlayerScripts. For the remotes, I plan to use a folder in ReplicatedStorage called AdminRemotes or OwnGameAdmin. It might be best to use a RemoteFunction for command sending and authentication, ensuring the UI only loads after checking access. I could implement a RemoteFunction named "AdminRequest" in ReplicatedStorage. It would take an argument like "access" and return a boolean to simplify client-server communication. Here’s an **expandable, server-authorized admin panel** for your Roblox game. “Everything” depends on your game, but this version includes: - Heal, kill, and respawn - Walk speed and jump power - Freeze and unfreeze - Teleport and bring players - Kick players - Change server gravity and time **Use both scripts below.** Permissions are checked on the server—not just in the GUI. ## 1. Server script In **ServerScriptService**, create a **Script** named `AdminServer`. **Replace `0` with your Roblox UserId**, not your username. You can find it in your profile URL. ```lua -- ServerScriptService > AdminServer local Players = game:GetService("Players") local ReplicatedStorage = game:GetService("ReplicatedStorage") local Lighting = game:GetService("Lighting") local ADMINS = { [0] = true, -- REPLACE 0 with your Roblox UserId -- [12345678] = true, -- Optional additional admin } local lastRequest = {} local running = {} local playerCommands = { heal = true, kill = true, respawn = true, speed = true, jump = true, freeze = true, unfreeze = true, tp = true, bring = true, kick = true, } local function getRoot(player) local character = player.Character local root = character and character:FindFirstChild("HumanoidRootPart") if root and root:IsA("BasePart") then return root end return nil end local function findTargets(sender, query) query = query:lower() if query == "me" then return { sender } elseif query == "all" then return Players:GetPlayers() end local matches = {} for _, player in ipairs(Players:GetPlayers()) do local username = player.Name:lower() if username == query then return { player } end if username:sub(1, #query) == query then table.insert(matches, player) end end if #matches == 1 then return matches elseif #matches == 0 then return nil, "Player not found. Use their username, not display name." else return nil, "That matches multiple players. Type more of the username." end end local function validNumber(text, minimum, maximum) local number = tonumber(text or "") -- Also rejects NaN and infinite values. if not number or number ~= number or number < minimum or number > maximum then return nil end return number end local function execute(sender, text) local args = {} for word in text:gmatch("%S+") do table.insert(args, word) end local command = (args[1] or ""):lower() -- Server-wide settings if command == "gravity" or command == "time" then local maximum = command == "gravity" and 500 or 24 if #args ~= 2 then return false, "Usage: " .. command .. Replace the UserId in the server script. 2. Start a **Play** test in Studio. 3. Click **Admin [F2]** or press **F2**. 4. Enter a command, such as `speed me 32`. **Scope:** These commands affect the current server. Character changes generally reset on respawn, and your existing game scripts may override them. Persistent bans, flight, and ranked permissions aren’t included in this starter.
