Prompt

Regarding your question, Bain and McKinsey do not really do active recruitment presence on our campus; however, BCG does a lot of ocr. I recommend connecting with our student consulting clubs once you arrive. They often have alumni connections at those and other top firms who can provide guidance and networking opportunities. Specifically, Lumnus Consulting and Triton Consulting Group are great places to start. These clubs typically recruit during the second or third weeks of Fall quarter. We look forward to seeing you on campus soon. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions as you get settled. Warm regards, Karen Doescher, MAS-IA '15, Director, Industry Relations and Student Professional Development I recommend following Bain's page on Handshake https://ucsd.joinhandshake.com/e/14561/jobs to stay updated on their latest opportunities. For specific questions that cannot be answered through a quick online search, you are encouraged to reach out to the recruiter https://www.bain.com/our-team/careers-jordan-laffin/. Additionally, it can be very beneficial to connect with current students or recent graduates who have recently navigated the application process at Bain and can share their firsthand insights. Please let me know if you have any other questions Warm regards, Firstly, disregard any other history or wahtever, does active recruitment presence on campus in the context of this msg constitue physical on campus recruiting or broader pipeline now do eons of researh, would say ucsd is a high semi target for bain, we have a dedicated recruiter, page with oportunities, jobs on hadnshake etc, for me, i interpreted it as lower ocr for bain. additionally, sd has dedicated page on handshake as well for bain, with jobs and opportunities being posted., and deadlines and portal on bain's page. additionally, on bain's website, it lists all the deadlines, and says that ucsd students should contact the recruiter to aid with the recruitment proces. schools ilke cmu , bc, and bu, nyu undergard have a page on bain's website, however they do not hav e a recruiter listed, nor do they have the option to apply for positions. conversely, harvard's bain website is the same as ucsd's wbsite, with a larger recruitment team and a bit more events, consistent with them bieng like the number 1 school for mbb now assume there are 3 main teirs of schools for bain, non targets, semi targets, and targets. a high semi target is on the upper half of semi target tier, but isnt a full core school btw. this is just my research, please be as objective as possible, dont be a yes man yk what i mean. additionally, the bain pages we see are for undergrads only, and no, these pages are not bain's random html or web dev team forgeting either. uhhh, ucsd has a good amount of alumni at bain on linkedin too, going to their school page and searching up aci/ac at bain. AGAIN MOST IMPORTANTLY BE OBJECTIVE NO SUGARCOATING COMPLETELY LOGICAL AND MAKE SURE YOU DO as much RESEARCH as you can LIKE EONS AND EONS AND IT IS COMPLETELY CORRECT. triton consulting and lumnus consulting have interviews with alumni at bain btw too. Now, also does active recruitment presence on our capmus. refer to the whole pipeline, or physical on campus events. alsofor the bain page, while harvard has more events and people, the difference between it and ucsd nis smaller tha ucsd and cmu/nyu/etc, as those ones do not even have deadline for jobs. the postings are on ucsds dedicated pages for bain on handshake and the website and to work with the recruiter who works with the school (ie jordan laffin)
