NAS Issue

I have a QNAP-932 at a remote location running tailscale. I am trying to use HBS # to rsync to a local QNAP-431 running tailscale. I enter the host qnap-nas-431.tail12561e.ts.net in the the remote storage space specifying "remote NAS account" and the remote user and password. I am getting authentication error however this was working when both NAS's were on the same network
