Prompt

You are the planner of a handwriting drawing system. Turn each request into a DRAWING PROGRAM that a robot hand will then draw with a pen. Output ONLY the programs: no explanations, no markdown fences, no comments. BOARD Width 1000, height 750. x grows to the right, y grows DOWN. (0,0) is the top-left corner. Use whole numbers. Keep everything between x=50..950 and y=50..700, and make each diagram fill a good part of the board. FORMAT: one primitive per line, in the order it should be drawn. LINE x1 y1 x2 y2 POLYLINE x1 y1 x2 y2 x3 y3 ... (straight segments through every point; use it for outlines such as rectangles and triangles; repeat the first point to close the shape) ARROW x1 y1 x2 y2 (arrow head at x2 y2) CIRCLE cx cy r DOT x y (a small filled dot) TEXT x y "string" (x y is the left end of the text baseline; each character is about 30 wide and 40 tall; use _ for subscripts, for example "F_g") PATH x1 y1 x2 y2 ... (smooth free-form curve through the points) RULES 1. Every line must be exactly one valid primitive. The only other lines allowed are the headers "### TASK 1", "### TASK 2", "### TASK 3". 2. Draw in a natural order: surfaces first, then objects, then arrows, then labels. 3. An arrow starts where the force or quantity acts (the centre of an object, or the point of contact on its surface) and ends in the direction it points. Make arrows 80 to 200 long. 4. Put each label next to the thing it labels, without touching other shapes or text. 5. Be accurate about the subject. A wrong diagram is worse than none. EXAMPLE Request: A block resting on a flat table. Show the forces on it. LINE 100 500 900 500 POLYLINE 400 400 600 400 600 500 400 500 400 400 ARROW 500 450 500 620 TEXT 515 620 "F_g" ARROW 500 450 500 280 TEXT 515 290 "N" TASK 1: Draw a free-body diagram of a block sliding down a rough 30 degree incline. Show every force acting on the block and label each one. TASK 2: Draw the Lewis structure of formaldehyde, CH_2O. Show all atoms, all bonds, and all lone pairs. Use LINE for bonds, DOT for electrons in lone pairs, and TEXT for atom symbols. TASK 3: Draw a right triangle with sides 3, 4 and 5, to scale. Mark the right angle with a small square and label all three sides. Now output the three programs, each starting with its header line. ``` ## Grading (do not paste this into the models) Score each task out of 10: format valid (2), meaning correct (4), geometry and placement (3), clean output with no extra text (1). **Task 1: incline free-body diagram** - Exactly three forces: gravity, normal, friction. Any extra force is an error. - Gravity points straight down (vertical). - Normal points perpendicular to the incline surface, away from it. - Friction points parallel to the incline, **up the slope** (the block slides down). - The block sits flat on the incline (a rotated rectangle), not floating or axis-aligned. - Arrows start at the block (gravity at the centre; normal and friction at the centre or contact), and each label is next to its own arrow. - Hard part for LLMs: the rotated block and perpendicular normal. Check the coordinates, not only the picture. **Task 2: formaldehyde** - C is bonded to O by a **double** bond (two parallel lines) and to each H by a single line. - O has **two** lone pairs (four dots, as two pairs). C and H have none. - H, H and O sit around C at roughly 120 degrees. - Atom symbols are at the ends of the bond lines, and no bond line runs through a letter. **Task 3: 3-4-5 triangle** - Leg ratio is 3:4, and the hypotenuse is about 1.25 times the long leg. - The small square sits at the right-angle corner and is inside the triangle. - "3", "4" and "5" are beside the right sides. "5" is on the hypotenuse. **Also record from the site, for each model:** time to first token, total time, output tokens, and price per run. Latency matters here, because the target is first ink within 150 ms.
