ATLAS — Milky Way Explorer

**Considering Milky Way Simulation** I need to create a response for the user wanting a full Milky Way galaxy simulation where all planets are visitable and the zoom quality is very realistic. I realize I should provide a complete HTML interactive 3D simulation using Three.js, but it has to be self-contained without needing external assets. I should clarify that the simulation will be stylized and include all eight solar planets but can't claim to be an exhaustive astronomical representation. The interface should be clearly labeled as "explorable procedural Milky Way."**Building Interactive Galaxy Simulation** I need to develop robust code for an interactive galaxy simulation with smooth controls that allow for orbiting and flying to planets. The simulation should feature around 100,000 stars and include a realistic solar system with all eight planets and possibly Pluto, displaying procedural textures and atmospheres. I envision a polished full-screen UI with features like a search tab for destinations, navigation controls, and tooltips. The architecture must avoid clutter, ensuring a responsive design. I'll also need to use OrbitControls for interaction.**Setting Up Library Imports** I need to set up external library scripts using an import map to access OrbitControls and other essential components. The best approach would be to pull in Three.js via jsdelivr at version 0.160.1, including additional controls and postprocessing tools like EffectComposer, RenderPass, and UnrealBloomPass. This should improve performance, especially with star counts adjustable between 90,000 and 110,000. I should ensure lighting effects aren't overdone while maintaining quality planet textures. Using ACESFilmicToneMapping will help achieve realistic output, too. ```html ATLAS — Milky Way Explorer
