Prompt

I wanna move to Linux full time on my laptop. It's an IdeaPad Slim 5i 9gen, with an Intel Core Ultra 5 125h, 32gb of memory, 1tb Samsung SSD M.2 NVMe. The main issues I encountered when I tried last year was GPU performance, it seems that the Intel Arc of the 125H has issues with Linux. I'm not new to Linux so I'm fine with the software compatibility but I would like to know the situation of the Intel Arc iGPU in Linux, maybe you can find something online past August of 2026, since I had researched a lot about it before so I don't wanna get common information. Some of the stuff I do with this laptop is: - Web browsing - Gaming (from 2D games like Slay the Spire, to 3D games like Minecraft, TF2, CS2, and THE FINALS) - Programming (web with stuff like node and deno, some python scripting, a lot of WSL to build Android ROMs, Flutter, and Windows App Development in C# with WPF) - Audio (audacity, waveform, vst plugins, capstan, fl studio, spectralayers) - Design (Figma, InkScape, Affinity) You may notice a lot of Windows software, I know some of them have alternatives and can either run under Wine, fortunately this laptop supports SR-IOV with the iGPU so I can use Windows for some of the software which I did in the past).
