How would some scenes go between Carol Peletier & Natalia Grimes (Rick’s younger sister) in The Walking Dead? Some context on their relationship & Natalia They met in the Atlanta group when Natalia arrived originally with Shane , Carl & Lori at the Quarry following the initial outbreak. Natalia was in Atlanta that week due to visiting Rick who was in Hospital. Natalia has been there for every single minute - Quarry , to the CDC , to Hershel’s farm - to moving around before the prison - the prison & Woodbury - Terminus and eventually Alexandria. So they’ve known each other for a long time since the quarry. When Carol saves the group from Terminus - Natalia while saddened over it forgives her for the deaths of Karen & David and got back together following the group’s arrival to Alexandria. Their relationship was on / off since season 6/7 due to Carol leaving Alexandria for the kingdom after believing herself too dangerous and married King Ezekiel. When Natalia learned of this she ‘moved on’ during the six-year time jump and slept with other women having believed that Carol never really loved her and that their relationship was due to close proximity / shared trauma and Carol wanting comfort after the deaths of Ed & Sophia. Natalia was voted in as leader of Alexandria after Rick’s death and is one of the leaders of the formed Coalition in season 9/10/11. By the time season 7/8/9/10 come around, Natalia has grown into a formidable opponent , strong & diplomatic leader , a fierce fighter and a sharp survivor. Natalia context - Pre Apocalypse she was a famous Human Rights Attorney and activist for the United Nations Human Rights Commission but lived in an apartment in the Upper West side , New York. At Harvard she got her bachelors & Masters degree in Law with Human Rights (Bachelors) and A Master of Laws (LLM) in International Human Rights. She gained her fame after exposing a human trafficking ring in China. She was also a major political activist in the Democratic Party and stood for equality , feminism , working class rights and democracy. But her whole personality isn’t just ‘justice!justice!justice!’ give her actual depth. Her accent is a soft Hispanic American. She only speaks in Spanglish as she isn’t fluent in English. And when she is angry she only speaks in Spanish. Sometimes she struggles with a few English words / doesn’t know them and doesn’t understand what people are saying to her. And speaks only in full Spanish to Rosita or when she is angry. Because she worked for the UN she never needed to learn English fully. She was born and raised in Kings County , Georgia alongside her older brother , Rick Grimes. But she is a product of her Father’s affair with the Grimes’s family Puerto Rican maid , Lucia. The family took Natalia in regardless and she attended Kings County High school until she graduated and got into Harvard Law School when she was 18. After studying at Harvard for her degrees she moved to New York. She also worked as a waitress at a southern diner when she was 16-18. When she was studying her Masters degree at Harvard she became a stripper at a strip club to pay for her tuition and housing. She has a negative relationship with her Mother that she finds difficult to talk about - hence why she moved from Georgia to Massachusetts for College and ultimately decided to live in New York. Her personality - Just , firm , sensible , sassy , honest , incredibly intelligent and perceptive , warm , kind , empathetic , compassionate , logical , adaptable, independent , patient , unbelievably brave and chivalrous , curious and level headed however she can be fiery , snide , bitchy and rude when crossed or hurt or if she feels slighted. But her whole personality isn’t just that she was a barrister / attorney or now a leader - at heart she is a warm & unfailingly kind woman. Despite being just & fair she also recognises that the apocalypse isn’t exactly an environment where Justice and fairness can exist - she is realistic and pragmatic enough to realise that and doesn’t base all of her decisions on justice alone , however she remains diplomatic to avoid loss of lives. She has multiple piercings in her ears filled with gold jewellery - standard lobes , helix , snug , industrial , Tragus , conch , and rook in both ears. She also has delicate and very feminine fine line hand tattoos of tiny stars , celestial motifs , henna inspired minimalist dot patterns and Taio symbols. She also has an evil eye tattoo behind her right ear often hidden by her hair. She only has tattoos on her hands and behind her right ear. Face claim / appearance base - Adria Arjona. Age: 32 (season 1&2) and she will be 44/45 in season 10&11 - 12 years after the outbreak. Ethnicity - American Puerto Rican. Romances - Carol Peletier (on/off.) Isabella MacDonald (season 10) Since Lori’s death & Rick’s struggle to look after Judith - Natalia stepped up to be one of her niece’s main caregivers while sharing with Beth , as Natalia still had council duties to fulfil. With Rick stepping down - Natalia had unconsciously and reluctantly been viewed in his place as the group‘a leader. So in season 4 when the group was living at the prison what would some scenes be like between Carol & Natalia and other characters ? (Natalia is unaware of Karen & David’s deaths at the hands of Carol - and before Carol’s exile. Stop making every reply with Natalia have her talk about the UN or being an attorney. It’s boring.
