Write a chord progression for an emotional modern pop ballad. It will be used for a melodic bass song. Don't use overly complex chords. It should be melancholic and heartbreaking. There won't be lyrics over the drop (since it's EDM) until the final one. It should have the following chord forms: intro, verse, build-up (hook), drop, verse, build-up (hook), drop, bridge, final drop, and an outro. You may add moving quarter-note chords when it will add color, energy, and movement to the cadence - but don't overcomplicate.
