Landing Page

Prompt

Create a high-tech, interactive, and eye-catching professional landing page for a project about finding lost NC history through digital research. It is for a (currently) single-person research project led by Alexander Scott, a resident of a historic area in NC called Eagle Rock, sandwiched between the suburbs of Wendell Falls and historic Wendell. He recently realized that NC has so many lost properties, towns, mansions, and plantations scattered throughout the forests that have been lost to time, and deserve to be rediscovered and documented. Using satellite imagery, LiDAR, and record searching, he hopes to find relatively undocumented historic sites throughout North Carolina and figure out and document their history, thus enriching the historic timeline and rhetoric around NC as a whole.
